Founded in 1924, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 577 Auxiliary has proudly served the Tulsa community for over a century. Our mission is simple yet profound: to honor and support America’s veterans, active-duty service members, and their families through advocacy, outreach, and remembrance.
In celebration of our 100th anniversary, we unveiled the Never Forget Garden in 2024—a living tribute to those who served and sacrificed. This sacred space stands as a symbol of our enduring promise: that we will never forget.

Honoring Service Through Action
At VFW Post 577 Auxiliary, we believe that honoring veterans means showing up—not just in words, but in deeds. Our members are actively engaged in bringing comfort, joy, and recognition to those who have served, especially our aging heroes.
Each year, we help provide Christmas gifts to veterans at Leisure Village Nursing Home, ensuring they feel remembered and appreciated during the holiday season. Throughout the year, we also send refreshments like lemonade and cookies to mark special holidays—small gestures that carry deep meaning.
These acts of kindness reflect our core belief: that service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off. It lives on in the way we care, connect, and continue to give back.
